{ "info": { "author": "Erik Hetzner", "author_email": "egh@e6h.org", "bugtrack_url": null, "classifiers": [], "description": "=================================================\n zot4rst: Zotero for reStructuredText (docutils)\n=================================================\n\nBackground\n~~~~~~~~~~\n\nZotero_ is a useful tool for managing citations.\n\nzot4rst is an extension to the Python docutils_ package for including\ncitations in reStructuredText_ documents.\n\nzot4rst is developed under Linux, has been tested on Windows, and\nshould run under Mac OS.\n\nInstallation\n~~~~~~~~~~~~\n\n1. Install Zotero_.\n2. Download and install zotxt:\n\n https://bitbucket.org/egh/zotxt/downloads/zotxt.xpi\n\n3. Install zot4rst::\n\n sudo python setup.py install\n\n\nQuickstart\n~~~~~~~~~~\n\nSee ``example/example.rst``, and the generated ``example/example.pdf``\nand ``example/example.html``. Citation syntax is identical to pandoc.\n\nzot4rst automatically maps citation keys (e.g., @DoeTitle2010) to\nentries in the zotero database. The key should be of the form\n@AuthorTitleDate. So, for the item:\n\n John Doe, \u201cArticle,\u201d Journal of Generic Studies, 2006.\n\nYou could use: @DoeArticle2006. This should be easy to use, but the\nreference needs to be unambiguous, which might be a problem if there\nare multiple items with the same author, title, and year. I am looking\ninto ways to handle this better.\n\nTo include Zotero_ citations in a reStructuredText_ document, you must\nuse the bundled ``zrst2*`` scripts, which have been modified to\ninclude support for ``zotero`` directives. These executables are\ninstalled using ``setup.py`` above. Currently, they are:\n\n- ``zrst2html``\n- ``zrst2odt``\n- ``zrst2pdf``\n- ``zrst2pseudoxml``\n- ``zrst2rst``\n\nSphinx\n~~~~~~\n\nTo use in sphinx, simply add the ``zot4rst.sphinx`` extension to your\n``conf.py`` file::\n\n extensions = ['zot4rst.sphinx']\n\nPelican\n~~~~~~~\n\nTo use in pelican_ (version 3.1 or later), add the following to your\n``pelicanconf.py`` file:\n\n PLUGINS = ['zot4rst.pelican_plugin',]\n\nDetails\n~~~~~~~\n\nSome details, in no particular order.\n\nNote that ``zrst2rst`` will transform your citations into plain\nreStructuredText files without the Zotero extension. For example::\n\n A citation group :xcite:`[see @item1 p. 34-35; also @item3 chap. 3]`.\n\nwill become::\n\n A citation group (see Doe 2005, p. 34\u201335; also Doe and Roe 2007,\n chap. 3).\n\nand the bibliography will be fully expanded. This can be used to\ncreate RST files that will work without zot4rst.\n\nIf you use a footnote citation format, zot4rst will insert footnotes\nfor you.\n\nHowever, if you also use regular autonumbered footnotes in the same\nsection or paragraph, the ordering will be wrong. So if you want to do\nthis, you will need to put your citations in a footnote\nexplicitly. For example::\n\n Water is wet. [#]_ But there are those who dispute it. [#]_\n\n .. [#] :xcite:`[See @item3]`.\n\n .. [#] These people are wrong.\n\n.. _Zotero: http://www.zotero.org/\n.. _`org-mode`: http://orgmode.org/\n.. _reStructuredText: http://docutils.sourceforge.net/rst.html\n.. _docutils: http://docutils.sourceforge.net/\n.. _`docutils snapshot`: http://docutils.sourceforge.net/docutils-snapshot.tgz\n.. _`sphinx bibtex`: http://sphinxcontrib-bibtex.readthedocs.org/\n.. _pelican: https://github.com/getpelican/pelican/\n", "description_content_type": null, "docs_url": null, "download_url": "UNKNOWN", "downloads": { "last_day": -1, "last_month": -1, "last_week": -1 }, "home_page": "http://bitbucket.org/egh/zot4rst/", "keywords": null, "license": "UNKNOWN", "maintainer": null, "maintainer_email": null, "name": "zot4rst", "package_url": "https://pypi.org/project/zot4rst/", "platform": "UNKNOWN", "project_url": "https://pypi.org/project/zot4rst/", "project_urls": { "Download": "UNKNOWN", "Homepage": "http://bitbucket.org/egh/zot4rst/" }, "release_url": "https://pypi.org/project/zot4rst/0.3.0/", "requires_dist": null, "requires_python": null, "summary": "Zotero for reStructuredText", "version": "0.3.0" }, "last_serial": 809386, "releases": { "0.2": [ { "comment_text": "", "digests": { "md5": "8c9407081aa54ca07389cb82951306c2", "sha256": "c70e6f2587d7c75ab846c40f12106bbf6eab5918efa74ff22bfd424f9d32daae" }, "downloads": -1, "filename": "zot4rst-0.2.tar.gz", "has_sig": false, "md5_digest": "8c9407081aa54ca07389cb82951306c2", "packagetype": "sdist", "python_version": "source", "requires_python": null, "size": 22213, "upload_time": "2013-04-04T05:23:47", "url": "https://files.pythonhosted.org/packages/3e/1d/6990fd166afa67f48cc2b6747bd4a54ccdeaf43fed53046698244ddf2aed/zot4rst-0.2.tar.gz" } ], "0.3.0": [ { "comment_text": "", "digests": { "md5": "8fb9b86025fd8a64f8890e95ccf4ca7d", "sha256": "cbc635d438e498ff6ef22446ee009461c975e36cf7667e249427ebd2f68ff424" }, "downloads": -1, "filename": "zot4rst-0.3.0.tar.gz", "has_sig": false, "md5_digest": "8fb9b86025fd8a64f8890e95ccf4ca7d", "packagetype": "sdist", "python_version": "source", "requires_python": null, "size": 21145, "upload_time": "2013-07-06T01:25:30", "url": "https://files.pythonhosted.org/packages/16/75/9b442c0920a0b4571393da7a17152467045618cc1db9c69a56d59f5fbe6a/zot4rst-0.3.0.tar.gz" } ] }, "urls": [ { "comment_text": "", "digests": { "md5": "8fb9b86025fd8a64f8890e95ccf4ca7d", "sha256": "cbc635d438e498ff6ef22446ee009461c975e36cf7667e249427ebd2f68ff424" }, "downloads": -1, "filename": "zot4rst-0.3.0.tar.gz", "has_sig": false, "md5_digest": "8fb9b86025fd8a64f8890e95ccf4ca7d", "packagetype": "sdist", "python_version": "source", "requires_python": null, "size": 21145, "upload_time": "2013-07-06T01:25:30", "url": "https://files.pythonhosted.org/packages/16/75/9b442c0920a0b4571393da7a17152467045618cc1db9c69a56d59f5fbe6a/zot4rst-0.3.0.tar.gz" } ] }
