It is built\non top of `wxPython` and\n[xnatpy](https://bitbucket.org/bigr_erasmusmc/xnatpy).\n\n\n## Installation\n\n\n`wxnatpy` is on [PyPi](https://pypi.python.org/) - install it through `pip`:\n\n\n```sh\npip install wxnatpy\n```\n\n\n`wxnatpy` is also on [conda-forge](https://conda-forge.org/) - install it\nthrough `conda`:\n\n\n```sh\nconda install -c conda-forge wxnatpy\n```\n\n\n**Important note for Linux users** `wnatpy` depends on `wxpython 4` which, for\nLinux platforms, is not available on PyPi.  Therefore, if you are using Linux,\nyou will need to install wxPython first - head to\nhttps://extras.wxpython.org/wxPython4/extras/linux/ and find the directory\nthat matches your OS. Then run this command (change the URL accordingly):\n\n\n```sh\npip install --only-binary wxpython -f https://extras.wxpython.org/wxPython4/extras/linux/gtk2/ubuntu-16.04/ wxpython\n```\n\n\n## Usage\n\n\nThe `wxnat.XNATBrowserPanel` is a `wx.Panel`, which is intended to be embedded\nin a `wxpython` application. The `wxnat` package can also be called as a\nstandalone application, e.g.:\n\n```sh\npython -m wxnat\n```\n\nThis will open a dialog containing the browser panel, and *Download* and\n*Close* buttons.\n\n\n## Acknowledgements\n\n\nDevelopment on `wxnatpy` began at the [2017 XNAT Developer\nWorkshop](https://wiki.xnat.org/workshop-2017/), in Rotterdam, 16th-18th\nNovember 2017, with the support of the [Wellcome Centre for Integrative\nNeuroimaging](https://www.ndcn.ox.ac.uk/divisions/fmrib/).",
