        "description": "# vumi-unidecode-middleware\n[Vumi][vumi] middleware that runs message content through unidecode\n\n## Using the middleware\n\nThe path to the middleware class is\n`vumi_unidecode_middleware.UnidecodeMiddleware`.\n\nThere are two optional config parameters.\n\n`message_direction` must be one of `inbound`, `outbound`, or `both`. This\nlimits whether to transform inbound, outbound, or both inbound and outbound\nmessages. Defaults to `both`\n\n`ignore_characters` is a string of characters that, excluding ASCII characters,\nwill be excluded from being converted.
