\n\nVivid Root\n==========\n\n[](https://travis-ci.org/frootlab/aughra)\n[](https://aughra.readthedocs.io/en/latest/?badge=latest)\n[](https://badge.fury.io/py/aughra)\n\n*Vivid Root* (alias Aughra) is a planned directory service for the\n[Vivid Code](https://www.frootlab.org/projects/vivid.html) framework. Vivid Root\nis responsible to host and deploy standards for algorithm types, interfaces and\nevaluation metrices to [Vivid Stores](https://www.frootlab.org/projects/vivid/store.html).\nThereupon Vivid Root provides information about public Vivid Stores, to allow an\nautomatic configuration of [Vivid Nodes](https://www.frootlab.org/projects/vivid/node.html).\n\nVivid Root is open source, based on the [Python](https://www.python.org/)\nprogramming language and actively developed as part of the\n[Vivid Code](https://www.frootlab.org/vivid) framework at the [Frootlab Organization](https://www.frootlab.org).\n\nCurrent Development Status\n--------------------------\n\nVivid Root currently is in early *planning* stage. This means, that the\nproject's directives, requirements and goals are not yet settled and\nimplemented.\n\nInstallation\n------------\n\nComprehensive information and installation support is provided within the\n[online manual](https://aughra.readthedocs.io/en/latest/). If you already have a\nPython environment configured on your computer, you can install the latest\ndistributed version by using pip:\n\n $ pip install vivid-db\n\n Or alternatively:\n\n $ pip install aughra\n\nDocumentation\n-------------\n\nThe latest Vivid Root documentation is available as an [online\nmanual](https://aughra.readthedocs.io/en/latest/) and for download in the\nformats [PDF](https://readthedocs.org/projects/aughra/downloads/pdf/latest/),\n[EPUB](https://readthedocs.org/projects/aughra/downloads/epub/latest/) and\n[HTML](https://readthedocs.org/projects/aughra/downloads/htmlzip/latest/).\n\nContribute\n----------\n\nContributors are very welcome!
