        "description": "V8Bot\r\n=====\r\n\r\nV8Bot gives you the ability to script chat bots for Hitbox.tv in JavaScript using the V8 engine by Google.\r\n\r\nLinux Installation\r\n------------------\r\n\r\nThe installation via ``pip`` seems currently broken, so you have to build and install PyV8 manually :(\r\nBut is not so hard, on Debian follow these steps:\r\n\r\n::\r\n\r\n    # apt-get install subversion scons libboost-all-dev libboost-python-dev\r\n    $ svn checkout http://v8.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ v8\r\n    $ svn checkout http://pyv8.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ pyv8\r\n    $ cd v8\r\n    $ export V8_HOME=`pwd`\r\n    $ cd ../pyv8\r\n    $ python setup.py build\r\n\r\nNow, if you want to install ``V8Bot`` as system wide side package\r\n\r\n::\r\n\r\n    # python setup.py install\r\n\r\nOr if you using ``virtualenv``\r\n\r\n::\r\n\r\n    $ virtualenv venv\r\n    $ . venv/bin/activate\r\n    $ python setup.py install\r\n\r\nIf you using Debian lenny you also can use a binary distribution from me built for x64 with ``libboost v1.55.0.2``.\r\nYou find it here: https://v8bot.ewelt.net/dist/pyv8/\r\n\r\nNow download the ``V8Bot`` source files and install it using ``setup.py`` as usual.\r\n\r\n::\r\n\r\n    # python setup.py install\r\n\r\nWindows Installation\r\n--------------------\r\n\r\n**From source**\r\n\r\nDownload the ``PyV8`` installer for your architecture from here: https://code.google.com/archive/p/pyv8/downloads\r\nand install it.\r\n\r\nDownload the ``V8Bot`` source from here https://v8bot.ewelt.net/dist/ and install it using ``setup.py`` or use the provided ``msi`` installer.\r\n\r\n**Standalone builds from Py2Exe**\r\n\r\nOn https://v8bot.ewelt.net/dist/ you can also find standalone builds generated with ``Py2Exe``\r\n\r\nUsage\r\n-----\r\n\r\nTo start a bot instance type\r\n\r\n::\r\n\r\n    $ v8b -u username -p password -c channel script_file.js\r\n\r\nWhere ``username`` and ``password`` are the Hitbox.tv credentials the bot should use. Its no problem to use your own credentials,\r\nthe bot will then have your nickname. You can let him join the same channels you are in, there is no duplicate check or something.\n",
