        "description": "sync2jira\n=========\n\nThis is a process that listens to activity on upstream repos on pagure and\ngithub via fedmsg, and syncs new issues there to a Jira instance elsewhere.\n\nConfiguration\n-------------\nConfiguration is in ``fedmsg.d/``.\n\nYou can maintain a mapping there that allows you to match one upstream repo\n(say, 'pungi' on pagure) to a downstream project/component pair in Jira (say,\n'COMPOSE', and 'Pungi').\n\nOn startup, if the ``initialize`` option is set to ``True`` in the\n``fedmsg.d/`` config, then all open issues from all upstream repos will be\nscraped and added to Jira if they are absent.\n\nIf the ``testing`` option is set to ``True``, then the script will perform a\n\"dry run\" and not actually add any new issues to Jira.\n\nCaveats\n-------\n\nHere are some things that this program *does not do*:\n\n- This program does not close Jira tickets when their corresponding ticket is\n  closed upstream, although that would be cool.\n- This program does not attempt to copy comments from upstream tickets to their\n  corresponding downstream tickets, although that would be cool.\n\nIf there is interest in having those things, please file an RFE or comment on\nan existing one `here <https://pagure.io/sync-to-jira/issues>`_ and we'll see\nabout prioritizing it.\n\nTests\n-----\n\nWe have decent test coverage.\n\nRun the tests with::\n\n    $ sudo dnf install detox\n    $ detox",
