Pull requests are\nneat.\n\n## Install\n\nDownloading the repo and firing off `python setup.py install` does the trick.\n\n## Configuration\n\nReads configuration from whichever file to which environment variable `SNOTE`\npoints.\n\nEach notebook requires a valid path, where notes will be saved. Global settings\napply to all notebooks, and may be overwritten at a notebook level.\n\n    [global]\n    editor=vim\n    ext=md\n    datefmt=%Y-%m-%d\n    timefmt=%H:%M:%S\n    timestamp=[{time}]\n    template=/path/to/template/file\n    default_title='no title'\n\n    [my-notebook]\n    path=/path/to/directory\n\n    [another]\n    path=/path/to/another/directory\n    editor=nano\n    ext=rst\n\n## Usage\n\n    usage: snote [-h] [-t] [-f FILENAME]\n                 notebook {update,u,new,n,list,l,ls,search,s} ...\n\n    positional arguments:\n      notebook              name of notebook to access\n\n    optional arguments:\n      -h, --help            show this help message and exit\n      -t, --timestamp       add a timestamp to the note\n      -f FILENAME, --filename FILENAME\n                            name a new note, or search for a note to update\n\n    actions:\n      {update,u,new,n,list,l,ls,search,s}\n                            notebook action, defaults to update\n        update (u)          edit note; default action\n        new (n)             create new note\n        list (l, ls)        list note titles in notebook\n        search (s)          list note titles containing the search term\n\n## Motivaton\n\nI wrote this for myself as a way to catalog my stream of consciousness, and an\nexercise in packaging.\n\n\n",
