\n\nRian\n=====\n\n[![Building Status](https://travis-ci.org/frootlab/rian.svg?branch=master)](https://travis-ci.org/frootlab/rian)\n[![Documentation Status](https://readthedocs.org/projects/rian/badge/?version=latest)](https://rian.readthedocs.io/en/latest/?badge=latest)\n[![PIP Version](https://badge.fury.io/py/rian.svg)](https://badge.fury.io/py/rian)\n\n*Rian* is a machine learning- and data analysis framework, that implements *cloud-assisted meta programming* (CAMP).\n\nThe key goal of Rian is to provide a long-term data analysis framework, which\nseemingly integrates into existing enterprise data environments and thereby\nsupports collaborative data science. To achieve this goal Rian orchestrates\nestablished frameworks like [TensorFlow\u00c2\u00ae](https://www.tensorflow.org/) and\ndynamically extends their capabilities by community driven algorithms (e.g. for\n[probabilistic graphical\nmodeling](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graphical_model), [machine\nlearning](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Machine_learning) and [structured\ndata-analysis](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Structured_data_analysis_(statistics))).\n\nThereby Rian allows the client-side usage of abstract algorithms,\nthat are specified with respect to their category, the used data type and an\nevaluation metric that determines their fitness. During runtime\nthese abstract specifications are resolved server-sided from a code catalog, by\na *currently best fitting* (CBF) algorithm.\n\nFor given category and application, the CBF algorithms are determined by their\nused metric. Examples for such metrices would be the prediction accuracies\nwithin a fixed set of gold standard samples of the respective domain of\napplication (e.g. latin handwriting, spoken words, TCGA gene expression data,\netc.).\n\nRian is open source, based on the [Python](https://www.python.org/) programming\nlanguage and actively developed as part of the [Liquid\nCode](https://www.frootlab.org/liquid) framework at\n[Frootlab](https://www.frootlab.org).\n\nCurrent Development Status\n--------------------------\n\nRian currently is in *Pre-Alpha* development stage, which immediately follows\nthe *Planning* stage. This means, that at least some essential requirements of\nRian are not yet implemented.\n\nInstallation\n------------\n\nComprehensive information and installation support is provided within the\n[online manual](http://docs.frootlab.org/rian). If you already have a\nPython environment configured on your computer, you can install the latest\ndistributed version by using pip:\n\n $ pip install rian\n\nDocumentation\n-------------\n\nThe documentation of the latest distributed version is available as an [online\nmanual](http://docs.frootlab.org/rian) and for download, given in the\nformats [PDF](https://readthedocs.org/projects/rian/downloads/pdf/latest/),\n[EPUB](https://readthedocs.org/projects/rian/downloads/epub/latest/) and\n[HTML](https://readthedocs.org/projects/rian/downloads/htmlzip/latest/).\n\nContributions\n-------------\n\nContributors are very welcome! Feel free to report bugs, ideas and feature\nrequests to the [issue tracker](https://github.com/frootlab/rian/issues),\nprovided by GitHub. Currently, as our team still is growing, we do not provide\nany Contribution Guide Lines. So, if you are interested to help or to join the\nteam, we would be glad, to [hear about you](mailto:application@frootlab.org).\n\nLicense\n-------\n\nRian is open source software and available free for any use under the\n[GPLv3 license](https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html):\n\n \u00c2\u00a9 2019 Frootlab Developers:\n Patrick Michl \n \u00c2\u00a9 2013-2019 Patrick Michl\n\n\n", "description_content_type": "text/markdown", "docs_url": null, "download_url": "", "downloads": { "last_day": -1, "last_month": -1, "last_week": -1 }, "home_page": "https://www.frootlab.org/rian", "keywords": "data-analysis enterprise-data-analysis data-science collaborative-data-science data-visualization machine-learning artificial-intelligence deep-learning probabilistic-graphical-model", "license": "GPLv3", "maintainer": "", "maintainer_email": "", "name": "rian", "package_url": "https://pypi.org/project/rian/", "platform": "", "project_url": "https://pypi.org/project/rian/", "project_urls": { "Homepage": "https://www.frootlab.org/rian" }, "release_url": "https://pypi.org/project/rian/0.5.583/", "requires_dist": [ "ipython (>=7.1)", "matplotlib (>=3.0)", "networkx (>=2.1)", "numpy (>=1.15)", "hup (>=0.9.2)", "deet (>=0.1.11)", "rpy2 ; extra == 'gene'", "pyside ; extra == 'gui'" ], "requires_python": ">=3.7", "summary": "Enterprise Machine-Learning and Predictive Analytics", "version": "0.5.583" }, "last_serial": 5807082, "releases": { "0.5.583": [ { "comment_text": "", "digests": { "md5": "2c2c2a2ea93208be4fb807222e4cba64", "sha256": "bad5ade08c0bc00353a9d0d21702d948932dbfa779d9a85623bb7659d62d011e" }, "downloads": -1, "filename": "rian-0.5.583-py3-none-any.whl", "has_sig": false, "md5_digest": "2c2c2a2ea93208be4fb807222e4cba64", "packagetype": "bdist_wheel", "python_version": "py3", "requires_python": ">=3.7", "size": 450233, "upload_time": "2019-09-10T05:35:00", "url": "https://files.pythonhosted.org/packages/0c/00/21e269bd4397d3e1b564ee827f7788e2fc7e9e2e4acce25c44ab2d1822f0/rian-0.5.583-py3-none-any.whl" }, { "comment_text": "", "digests": { "md5": "63fedf31219b760c3f16b3778bdedef2", "sha256": "d6fad3d218ec5d1abdaaf7fc220caeaf5b16e2232ee65a6cb147f3e4ed7b789b" }, "downloads": -1, "filename": "rian-0.5.583.tar.gz", "has_sig": false, "md5_digest": "63fedf31219b760c3f16b3778bdedef2", "packagetype": "sdist", "python_version": "source", "requires_python": ">=3.7", "size": 338599, "upload_time": "2019-09-10T05:35:03", "url": "https://files.pythonhosted.org/packages/51/d1/2b85bf1f66005f11257bade31ad3883da160fb9642cc985af01910c2b64f/rian-0.5.583.tar.gz" } ] }, "urls": [ { "comment_text": "", "digests": { "md5": "2c2c2a2ea93208be4fb807222e4cba64", "sha256": "bad5ade08c0bc00353a9d0d21702d948932dbfa779d9a85623bb7659d62d011e" }, "downloads": -1, "filename": "rian-0.5.583-py3-none-any.whl", "has_sig": false, "md5_digest": "2c2c2a2ea93208be4fb807222e4cba64", "packagetype": "bdist_wheel", "python_version": "py3", "requires_python": ">=3.7", "size": 450233, "upload_time": "2019-09-10T05:35:00", "url": "https://files.pythonhosted.org/packages/0c/00/21e269bd4397d3e1b564ee827f7788e2fc7e9e2e4acce25c44ab2d1822f0/rian-0.5.583-py3-none-any.whl" }, { "comment_text": "", "digests": { "md5": "63fedf31219b760c3f16b3778bdedef2", "sha256": "d6fad3d218ec5d1abdaaf7fc220caeaf5b16e2232ee65a6cb147f3e4ed7b789b" }, "downloads": -1, "filename": "rian-0.5.583.tar.gz", "has_sig": false, "md5_digest": "63fedf31219b760c3f16b3778bdedef2", "packagetype": "sdist", "python_version": "source", "requires_python": ">=3.7", "size": 338599, "upload_time": "2019-09-10T05:35:03", "url": "https://files.pythonhosted.org/packages/51/d1/2b85bf1f66005f11257bade31ad3883da160fb9642cc985af01910c2b64f/rian-0.5.583.tar.gz" } ] }
