This version marks the fourth redesign, and it has vast improvements over the previous versions.\n\nPyTan is actively maintained on GitHub, where the code is [always available](https://github.com/tanium/pytan3).\n\nThe [documentation for PyTan](https://pytan3.readthedocs.io/en/latest/) is available online thanks to [Read the Docs](https://readthedocs.org/).\n\n## Installing\n\nInstalling PyTan via [pip](https://pypi.org/project/pip/) or [pipenv](https://pipenv.readthedocs.io/en/latest/) will automatically install all of the necessary dependencies.\n\n### Install into the system site-packages using pip\n\n```\n$ pip install pytan3\n```\n\n### Install into a virtual environment using pipenv\n\n```\n$ pipenv install pytan3\n```\n\n### Clone the pytan3 repository using git\n\n```\n$ git clone git://github.com/tanium/pytan3.git\n```\n\n### Directly from GitHub\n\nGet the [master branch](https://github.com/tanium/pytan3/archive/master.zip) which will always be the most recent stable release, or download a specific version from the [releases page](https://github.com/tanium/pytan3/releases).\n\n\n\n",
