        "description": "README\n======\n\nAccess the Panl.com API -- Python version\n\nGetting Started\n---------------\n\nIf you have setuptools installed, to install the Panl API, type::\n\n  easy_install pypanl\n\nOtherwise, unpack the distribution zipped tar-file, change directory to the\nnewly created folder and type::\n\n  python setup.py install\n\nFor Windows, type::\n\n  setup.py install\n\n\nCreate a Panl Monitor\n---------------------\n\n1. Visit http://panl.com/ to create an account. On the Monitors page,\n   click +New Monitor.\n\n2. Configure the new monitor as follows:\n\n   * Mode: on [the default]\n\n   * Type -> Custom\n\n   * Name: *something mnemonic here, e.g. a server hostname*\n\n   * Error Action: Alert\n\n   * Expected Time: Every 15 minutes\n\n   * Overdue Action: Alert\n\n   * on the Contacts tab tick Alerts for the appropriate device\n     (email, SMS, etc.) and optionally add an SMS device if you need\n     an immediate push alert, otherwise email will be okay\n\n3. Save\n\n4. click on the new monitor's name (i.e. *something mnemonic*),\n   scroll down and note the second line under the API Calls. It will\n   look like this::\n\n     https://api.panl.com/aWfBto?up=Yes&value=23&k=6776cd9166e2c9a545e258a7e725f64e\n\n   You need to grab the Hash Code and the Access Key from this.\n   The \"Hash Code\" is the six-character string (also provided on the\n   Edit Monitor page), and the \"Access Key\" is the longer hex string.\n\n\nExample Usage\n---------------\n\nMonitor a local RADIUS server by authenticating a test user::\n\n  monitor_hash = 'aWfBto'\n  monitor_key = '6776cd9166e2c9a545e258a7e725f64e'\n\n  import panl.custom, panl.utility\n\n  ok = panl.utility.radius_auth('localhost', 'xyz123', 'fakeuser', 'abcd17')\n  panl.custom.update(monitor_hash, monitor_key, 1, ok)",
