        "description": "This library consists of three sublibraries: pyLuminous, pyFresnel and pyQW \r\nfor performing a few specific physics simulations.\r\n\r\npyLuminous is an optical transfer matrix code. Unlike other optical transfer \r\nmatrix codes, this code allows for layers with uniaxial dielectrics which have \r\ntheir optical axes normal to the plane of the layers.\r\n\r\npyFresnel contains codes for modelling the optical properties of dielectric \r\ninterfaces and dielectric slabs (etalons).\r\n\r\npyQW is a simple code for a semi-analytical simulation of a finite \r\nsemiconductor quantum well (conduction band). It also models the well's \r\nintersubband transitions (transitions between the conduction band levels).\r\n        \r\nThis library depends upon numpy, scipy and matplotlib.",
