        "description": "============\npristine-lfs\n============\n\nAbout\n-----\n\n**pristine-lfs** is a tool to replace *pristine-tar* by the means of using\nGit LFS to store tarballs. The original *pristine-tar* tool is a way to store\nbinary tarballs in Git by regenerating them using only a small binary delta\nfile and a checkout of the upstream branch.\n\nInstallation\n------------\n\n*pristine-lfs* assumes you have Python 3.6 or later installed as ``/usr/bin/python3``.\n\n*pristine-lfs* ships with a setup.py installer based on setuptools.\nTo install *pristine-lfs*, simply type::\n\n    ./setup.py install\n\nThis will install *pristine-lfs* itself, its manpage and this README file into\ntheir proper locations.\n\nAlternatively, to install via ``pip``, run::\n\n    pip install pristine-lfs\n\n\nLicense\n-------\n\nThis program is free software; you can redistribute it\nand/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public\nLicense as published by the Free Software Foundation; either\nversion 2 of the License, or (at your option) any later\nversion.\n\nThis program is distributed in the hope that it will be\nuseful, but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied\nwarranty of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR\nPURPOSE.
