Go to *Accounting > Configuration > Management > Asset Types*.\n#. There's a new field called \"Loss Account\" for setting the default loss\n account when disposing assets.\n\nUsage\n=====\n\n#. Go to *Accounting > Adviser > Assets*.\n#. There you will find a 'Dispose' button (instead of standard 'Set to Close').\n#. After clicking it, a wizard pops-up for asking disposal date and loss\n account to use if any residual value is pending.\n#. Click on \"Dispose asset\".\n#. A new screen will appear with the disposal account entry.\n#. On the asset, all remaining depreciation lines are removed, and a new one\n appears for the disposal move.\n\nYou can cancel afterwards the disposal:\n\n#. Click on \"Undo disposal\" on the asset.\n#. The disposal entry is removed.\n#.
