It allows you to record your voice using a microphone \nand save it as an wav file. \n\nMy-Voice-Recorder was originally designed as a voice recorder for acoustic and language \nresearch or creative endeavors. It was tested for our Automatic language identification \npackage and has a flexible adjustable and simple features for manual control which make \nit more adaptable for specific needs. \nThese features not only make the device easier to use in an original environment, they \nalso help for optimum file storage opportunities.\n\nMy-Voice-Recorder records in a wide range of quality such as CD-quality 16 or 24-bit \nlinear PCM or other formats and automatically detect your machine's microphones. \nThese are adjustable for varied stereo depth depending on your recording needs. It \ncould support multi-track recording, all of which are great features for creative \nprojects, as they allow for more control over the audio layers. \nThe main downside to My-Voice-Recorder is that it does not include voice activation or \ndead air removal.\n\nAdding an external microphone is the single most significant way to improve the quality\nof the sound your machine captures. To give the voice recordings top-level audio, you'll \nneed to get a standard mic.\n\nMY-Voice-Recorder works with USB better though it is not a must. While the microphone quality \nusually serves as a good indicator of recorded voice quality, a few mic factors have an \nimpact. Checking the mic frequency response (the range of sounds it can hear) and sampling rate.\n\n=============\nInstallation\n=============\nMy-Voice-Recorder can be installed like any other Python library, using (a recent version of) the\nPython package manager pip, on Linux, macOS, and Windows:\n\n------------------pip install myVOCRec\n\nor, to update your installed version to the latest release:\n------------------- pip install -u myVOCRec\t---------------------------------\n\nRecording files must be 25 sec. or longer of audio and in *.wav PCM/LPCM format, recorded at 48 kHz \nsample frame and 24-32 bits of resolution or AIFF, AIFF-C, FLAC: must be native FLAC format; \nOGG-FLAC is not supported.\n\nplease check out https://github.com/Shahabks/my-voice-recorder \n\nmyVOCRec was developed by MYOLUTION Lab in Japan. It is being used internally where the quality of \nutterances is crucial for our Voice Recognition and Acoustic & Language modeling Project in the Lab. \nWe plan to enrich the quality of myVOCRec by adding more advanced functions.\n\n", "description_content_type": "", "docs_url": null, "download_url": "", "downloads": { "last_day": -1, "last_month": -1, "last_week": -1 }, "home_page": "https://github.com/Shahabks/myspokenlanguageid", "keywords": "speech signal processing,Natural Language Processing and Understanding,Voice-Recorder", "license": "MIT", "maintainer": "", "maintainer_email": "", "name": "myVOCRec", "package_url": "https://pypi.org/project/myVOCRec/", "platform": "", "project_url": "https://pypi.org/project/myVOCRec/", "project_urls": { "Homepage": "https://github.com/Shahabks/myspokenlanguageid" }, "release_url": "https://pypi.org/project/myVOCRec/1/", "requires_dist": [ "sounddevice (>=0.3.12)", "SoundFile (>=0.10.2)" ], "requires_python": "", "summary": "Capturing Microphone Data into an Audio File", "version": "1" }, "last_serial": 4781718, "releases": { "1": [ { "comment_text": "", "digests": { "md5": "f2ed83f1d29ac37aa8b6843bc606de54", "sha256": "b705948efc957ea8e1337cc47d0c3acd4461470e52c45f87659ea0d570cc23d8" }, "downloads": -1, "filename": "myVOCRec-1-py3-none-any.whl", "has_sig": false, "md5_digest": "f2ed83f1d29ac37aa8b6843bc606de54", "packagetype": "bdist_wheel", "python_version": "py3", "requires_python": null, "size": 3600, "upload_time": "2019-02-05T11:29:35", "url": "https://files.pythonhosted.org/packages/a1/21/1ce96f82e0d57ac0538f9a2d4517c9c3fe2bc509f439a51248dbc276d6ae/myVOCRec-1-py3-none-any.whl" }, { "comment_text": "", "digests": { "md5": "02491f0e3532c12fc2d86a10c6224346", "sha256": "81f961e409116017cf927bb84600f75e504e53335706c5c8e4c8fa8db6c87c16" }, "downloads": -1, "filename": "myVOCRec-1.tar.gz", "has_sig": false, "md5_digest": "02491f0e3532c12fc2d86a10c6224346", "packagetype": "sdist", "python_version": "source", "requires_python": null, "size": 3528, "upload_time": "2019-02-05T11:29:37", "url": "https://files.pythonhosted.org/packages/f1/27/c590f36dd63dae023c505502990b02f1587f1af7aadfad7e1f08a9580b7e/myVOCRec-1.tar.gz" } ] }, "urls": [ { "comment_text": "", "digests": { "md5": "f2ed83f1d29ac37aa8b6843bc606de54", "sha256": "b705948efc957ea8e1337cc47d0c3acd4461470e52c45f87659ea0d570cc23d8" }, "downloads": -1, "filename": "myVOCRec-1-py3-none-any.whl", "has_sig": false, "md5_digest": "f2ed83f1d29ac37aa8b6843bc606de54", "packagetype": "bdist_wheel", "python_version": "py3", "requires_python": null, "size": 3600, "upload_time": "2019-02-05T11:29:35", "url": "https://files.pythonhosted.org/packages/a1/21/1ce96f82e0d57ac0538f9a2d4517c9c3fe2bc509f439a51248dbc276d6ae/myVOCRec-1-py3-none-any.whl" }, { "comment_text": "", "digests": { "md5": "02491f0e3532c12fc2d86a10c6224346", "sha256": "81f961e409116017cf927bb84600f75e504e53335706c5c8e4c8fa8db6c87c16" }, "downloads": -1, "filename": "myVOCRec-1.tar.gz", "has_sig": false, "md5_digest": "02491f0e3532c12fc2d86a10c6224346", "packagetype": "sdist", "python_version": "source", "requires_python": null, "size": 3528, "upload_time": "2019-02-05T11:29:37", "url": "https://files.pythonhosted.org/packages/f1/27/c590f36dd63dae023c505502990b02f1587f1af7aadfad7e1f08a9580b7e/myVOCRec-1.tar.gz" } ] }
