At present this is tested against ceilometer\nstable/pike branch, if you need to test against different branch you can\nchange it in test-requirements.txt\n\nRelevant files are:\n\n- monasca_test_setup.py - determines the ceilometer venv path and\n copies the relevant files over\n\n- tox.ini - calls the commands for setup and runs the tests\n\n- test-requirements.txt - contains the dependencies required for\n testing\n\nUsing Ceilosca\n--------------\n\nDefining or changing existing meters\n~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\n\nFrom time to time, Ceilometer introduces new meters. The list of\ncurrently supported measurements can be found at\nhttps://docs.openstack.org/ceilometer/pike/admin/telemetry-measurements.html\n(which is generated from\nhttps://github.com/openstack/ceilometer/doc/source/admin/telemetry-measurements.rst).\n\nSome meters require additional configuration in Ceilometer. For example,\nthe SDN pollster meters need specialized drivers. For more information\nabout how Ceilometer collects meters through polling or collecting,\nplease reference the `Telemetry documentation`_ and `measurements`_.\n\nDefining which meters are published from Ceilometer to Monasca API\n^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^\n\nAs with Ceilometer, the list of meters to be published is specified in\n``/etc/ceilometer/pipeline.yaml``.\n\nAs metering data accumulates over time, it is recommended that\nCeilometer be configured to only publish meters where the customer has a\nneed for the data. Additionally, it is recommended to check the\nmeasurements captured by Monasca agents to avoid any duplication of\ndata.\n\nTo enable or disable meters,\n\n1. Identify the current list of meters being collected, specified in\n ``/etc/ceilometer/pipeline.yaml``. *Hint: You can see which meters\n are currently being reported through ``monasca metric-list`` (or\n ``ceilometer meter-list`` in Pike and earlier).*\n\n2. Edit the ``/etc/ceilometer/pipeline.yaml`` file to add or remove\n entries from the meters list.\n\n3. Repeat changes for all control plane nodes.\n\n4. Restart all Ceilometer notification agents, polling agents, and central\n services to pick up the changes.\n\nTo create new meters (or clean out removed meters),\n\n1. Identify which meters are available for this OpenStack Ceilometer release\n on `measurements`_ page.\n\n - Idenfity which parameters should be transfered to Monasca.\n - Identify the Origin of the meter. Be aware that Pollster meters may\n require additional configuration.\n\n2. Modify ``monasca_field_definitions.yml`` with the new meters.\n\n3.
