Note that this is a fork of\nhttps://github.com/tkanmae/levmar.\n\n\nDescription\n-----------\n\nThe levmar is GPL'ed ANSI C implementation of the `Levenberg-Marquardt\n(LM) optimization algorithm `_.\nThe LM algorithm provides a numerical solution to the problem of minimizing\na function over a parameter space\nof a function. The levmar library provides implementation of both\nunconstrained and constrained LM algorithms (box, linear equation, and\nlinear inequality constraints).\n\n\nInstallation\n------------\nSimplest way to install levmar and its dependencies is to use the\n`conda package manager `_::\n\n $ conda install -c bjodah levmar pytest\n $ python -m pytest --pyargs levmar # runs the test-suite\n\nalternatively you may also use `pip`::\n\n $ python -m pip install --user --upgrade pytest levmar\n $ python -m pytest --pyargs levmar\n\nyou can skip the ``--user`` flag if you have got root permissions.\n\n\nDocumentation\n-------------\n\nSee docstrings and demo scripts contained in the directory\n``./examples``.
