Can [fix issues][django-commit].\n\nIt works with [Django\u2019s templates][djangotemplates] too, it should\nwork with [Twig](https://twig.symfony.com/) and similar template languages.\nIt should work fine with any kind of HTML 4 and 5, hovewer XHTML\u00a0is not\nsupported.\n\nThis linter parses both HTML and Jinja tags and will report mismatched\ntags and indentation errors:\n\n```html+jinja\n<div>\n    {% if something %}\n    </div>\n{% endif %}\n```\n\n```html+jinja\n<div>\n    <span>\n    </div>\n</span>\n```\n\n```html+jinja\n  {% if something %}\n <div> not indented properly\n      </div>\n   {% endif %}\n```\n\n```html+jinja\n{% if something %}<a href=\"somewhere\">{% endif %}\n    <p>something</p>\n{% if not something %}</a>{% endif %}\n```\n\n## Usage\n\nYou need Python 3. Jinjalint doesn\u2019t work with Python 2. Install it with\n`pip install jinjalint` (or `pip3 install jinjalint` depending on how `pip` is\ncalled on your system), then run it with:\n\n```sh\n$ jinjalint template-directory/\n```\n\n\u2026or:\n\n```sh\n$ jinjalint some-file.html some-other-file.html\n```\n\nThis is a work in progress.
