Starting from\nBiopython release 1.75, all you need to do to support the formats\nbelow is to load the `Bio.SeqIO` module.\n\nConsequently, this project will no longer be maintained. It will\nremain available online but will not be updated. All improvements\nand bug fixes will occur in the Biopython repository.\n\nYou can still use this module until Biopython 1.75 is released and\navailable on your system. After that, loading the `incenp.bio.seqio`\nmodule will be a no-op and a DeprecationWarning will be emitted.\n\n\nFormats supported\n-----------------\n\n* `xdna` format, used by _DNA Strider_ and\n  [Serial Cloner](http://serialbasics.free.fr/Serial_Cloner.html):\n  reading and writing supported\n* `snapgene` format, used by [SnapGene](https://www.snapgene.com/):\n  reading support only\n* `gck` format, used by [Gene Construction Kit](http://www.textco.com/gene-construction-kit.php):\n  reading support only\n\n\nUsage\n-----\nThe BinSeqs parsers and writers are not designed to be used\nindependently and should instead be used through the Biopython's\nSeqIO module.\n\nSimply import the `incenp.bio.seqio` module to make the parsers\nand writers available to Biopython's SeqIO:\n\n    from Bio import SeqIO\n    import incenp.bio.seqio\n\n    records = list(SeqIO.parse('snapgene_file.dna', 'snapgene'))\n    SeqIO.write(records, 'serialcloner_file.xdna', 'xdna')\n\n\nCopying\n-------\nBinSeqs is free software and distributed under the terms of\na BSD-like license.
