        "description": "imaprelay\n=========\n\n``imaprelay`` is a simple tool designed to scratch a very specific itch.\nPresented with an institutional email account that he had an obligation\nto check, but lacking desire to use the Outlook Web Access interface, the\nauthor was dismayed to find that he was unable to forward his email.\n\nThe solution is ``imaprelay``, a python program that logs into an IMAP\naccount and relays emails from the Inbox to a specified email address,\nvia an SMTP server. Once relayed, emails are \"archived\" -- moved out of\nthe inbox into a different folder.\n\nAlthough usable programmatically [#code]_, it is expected that most people\nwill  want to use the ``imaprelay`` command-line tool that this package\nprovides.\n\nBy default, this program will look for a configuration file in\n``~/.secret/imaprelay.cfg`` -- its location should indicate that it needs\nto contain plain-text passwords for IMAP and SMTP servers, and thus the\nprogram will exit immediately if the file is group- or world-readable.\n\nThe available configuration options are listed below::\n\n    # IMAP server connection details\n    [imap]\n    hostname=imap.exchange.megacorp.com\n    username=j.bloggs\n    password=123password\n    \n    # SMTP server connection details\n    [smtp]\n    hostname=mail.recipient.com\n    username=joe_bloggs\n    password=passw0rd\n    \n    # Relay configuration\n    [relay]\n    # Who should we relay the emails to?\n    to=onward@recipient.com\n    # Where should we look for emails to be relayed?\n    inbox=INBOX\n    # Where should we move the emails once successfully relayed?\n    archive=Archive\n\nOnce you've written a config file, all you need to do is run::\n\n    imaprelay\n\nFor verbose logging, use::\n\n    imaprelay -v\n\nBug reporting\n*************\n\nPlease report bugs `on Github <http://github.com/nickstenning/imaprelay/issues>`_.\n\n\n..
