To get\nhelp, just invoke the script::\n\n  illuminatus\n\nThe script requires an operation to be specified; the operations provided by the\nscript are documented in more detail below, but first a word about databases.\n\nSpecifying a database\n---------------------\n\nTo allow the script to do something useful, you'll need to provide the location\nof a database holding media metadata. You can do this in one of two ways:\n\n- Provide the ``--db`` flag when running the script.\n- Specify a database location using the ``ILLUMINATUS_DB`` environment\n  variable.\n\nIf both are provided, the flag overrides the setting of the environment\nvariable.\n\nImporting\n---------\n\nThe ``illuminatus`` script can recursively import media from any filesystem\npath.\n\n::\n\n  illuminatus import ~/Pictures\n\nExporting\n---------\n\nThe ``illuminatus`` script can export media that are tagged in a specific way.\nThe export comes in a zip file and includes a metadata dump of the relevant tags\nand such.\n\n::\n\n  illuminatus export\n\nListing\n-------\n\nThe ``illuminatus`` script can show items in the database that match certain\nqueries.\n\n::\n\n  illuminatus list\n\nTagging\n-------\n\nThe ``illuminatus`` script can add or remove tags to or from media.\n\n::\n\n  illuminatus retag\n\nThumbnails\n----------\n\nThe ``illuminatus`` script can regenerate the thumbnails for existing items in\nthe database.\n\n::\n\n  illuminatus rethumb\n\nServing\n-------\n\nThe ``illuminatus`` script can provide a RESTful HTTP server (using\n`bottle.py`_) for media data and metadata.\n\n::\n\n  illuminatus serve\n\n.. _bottle.py: http://bottlepy.org\n\nLibrary\n=======",
