If you don't want to build\nthe C extension module, install with\n`pip install ihm --install-option=\"--without-ext\"`.\n\n# Installation from source code\n\nTo build and install from a clone of the GitHub repository, run\n\n```\npython setup.py build\npython setup.py install\n```\n\nNote that a C extension module is built for faster parsing of mmCIF files.\nThis requires that your system has a C compiler\nand [SWIG](http://www.swig.org/).
