        "description": "# hier_client\n\nA Python library for using [Hier](https://honorable-diligent-serval.anvil.app/) from the CLI.\n\n## Install\n\nThe client requires Python >3.6. Just use `pip` to install:\n\n```\n$ pip install hier_client\n```\n\n## Quickstart\n\nBefore using the client, you must generate a Hier token.\nGo to your profile page on [Hier](https://honorable-diligent-serval.anvil.app/).\nClick the `Refresh token` button.\n\nBack at the command-line, initialize the client.\nYou'll only have to do this once.\n\n```\n$ hier init\n```\n\nYou'll be prompted for the email you used to register for Hier,\nas well as the token you just generated.\nIf you do ever want to update your token,\nyou can always rerun `hier init`.\n\nNow, add a note for today:\n\n```\n$ hier write \"Learned about the Hier client.\"\n```\n\nIf you've already made notes for today, no worries, just append to them:\n\n```\n$ hier write --append \"Learned about the Hier client.\"\n```\n\nOr to start a note over from scratch, use `--force` instead.\n\n```\n$ hier write --force \"Wrote a fresh note.\"\n```\n\nFinally, if you just want to see what you've already written:\n\n```\n$ hier read\n```\n\n## Bugs or Suggestions\n\nFeel free to leave an [Issue](https://github.com/Jessime/hier_client/issues) if anything comes up!\n\n\n",
