Charged molecules are then dragged through the gel by applying an electric field across the gel.\nLarger molecules have more interaction with the gel matrix. This drag reduces the migration rate through the gel.\nSmaller molecules travels faster through the gel.\nThis creates a pattern of bands on the gel.\nBands from the a sample in one well will form a vertical \"lane\" as they travel through the gel.", "description_content_type": null, "docs_url": null, "download_url": "https://github.com/scholer/gelutils/tarball/0.6.1", "downloads": { "last_day": -1, "last_month": -1, "last_week": -1 }, "home_page": "https://github.com/scholer/gelutils", "keywords": "GEL,Image,Annotation,PAGE,Agarose,DNA,Protein,SDS,Gel electrophoresis,Typhoon,GelDoc,Molecular biology,Biotechnology", "license": "GNU General Public License v3 (GPLv3)", "maintainer": null, "maintainer_email": null, "name": "gelutils", "package_url": "https://pypi.org/project/gelutils/", "platform": "UNKNOWN", "project_url": "https://pypi.org/project/gelutils/", "project_urls": { "Download": "https://github.com/scholer/gelutils/tarball/0.6.1", "Homepage": "https://github.com/scholer/gelutils" }, "release_url": "https://pypi.org/project/gelutils/0.6.1/", "requires_dist": null, "requires_python": null, "summary": "Annotate and convert GEL images (PAGE, agarose gels, etc.) acquired from e.g. Typhoon scanners, GelDocs or similar.", "version": "0.6.1" }, "last_serial": 2296336, "releases": { "0.5.0": [ { "comment_text": "", "digests": { "md5": "0e9ea3ca3b8051e520d0bc49e0ae1cc3", "sha256": "716bc38773d93d9de4f1f0badbda180a455d417274ca129c3d38c567398dd66c" }, "downloads": -1, "filename": "gelutils-0.5.0.tar.gz", "has_sig": false, "md5_digest": "0e9ea3ca3b8051e520d0bc49e0ae1cc3", "packagetype": "sdist", "python_version": "source", "requires_python": null, "size": 45777, "upload_time": "2016-07-02T21:38:13", "url": "https://files.pythonhosted.org/packages/77/49/fe86d96314c20136fe8e4c7c17d7ac1a281b66b33d8184f0c21dda2b31ee/gelutils-0.5.0.tar.gz" } ], "0.5.1": [ { "comment_text": "", "digests": { "md5": "72903a9c5b0d64f5a721c757a1176af4", "sha256": "8d245398e327d21d2d5b8bd7145dbd803d498fc69140f1ba42ea8dafe4a21d37" }, "downloads": -1, "filename": "gelutils-0.5.1.tar.gz", "has_sig": false, "md5_digest": "72903a9c5b0d64f5a721c757a1176af4", "packagetype": "sdist", "python_version": "source", "requires_python": null, "size": 49179, "upload_time": "2016-07-02T23:28:15", "url": "https://files.pythonhosted.org/packages/28/9a/98ef79076cafa006db4d7e77de8155878d84884ee8cadb45867283e42200/gelutils-0.5.1.tar.gz" } ], "0.6.0": [ { "comment_text": "", "digests": { "md5": "746f6f4847009112491fb7ae347127ab", "sha256": "a0fe178e6144d4188f29639a41f616839ac88a100b40bd2251c9449bd3e6b382" }, "downloads": -1, "filename": "gelutils-0.6.0.tar.gz", "has_sig": false, "md5_digest": "746f6f4847009112491fb7ae347127ab", "packagetype": "sdist", "python_version": "source", "requires_python": null, "size": 52308, "upload_time": "2016-07-29T18:29:31", "url": "https://files.pythonhosted.org/packages/8c/12/288ab1905fa810b02058385fd71f4010d2f81354ac32b6cc2f35779aab27/gelutils-0.6.0.tar.gz" } ], "0.6.1": [ { "comment_text": "", "digests": { "md5": "17bcddaee226a7c050b3563230d573ef", "sha256": "aa03cd11c03dcf5e7863f0c5aee8a73c7443791ac54dbc5ae9839a95f7615cf1" }, "downloads": -1, "filename": "gelutils-0.6.1.tar.gz", "has_sig": false, "md5_digest": "17bcddaee226a7c050b3563230d573ef", "packagetype": "sdist", "python_version": "source", "requires_python": null, "size": 53456, "upload_time": "2016-08-22T19:57:03", "url": "https://files.pythonhosted.org/packages/04/91/80a53e7ef3d653fd28843bf983785768a9490822f9bc3caab30d7b5cb49c/gelutils-0.6.1.tar.gz" } ] }, "urls": [ { "comment_text": "", "digests": { "md5": "17bcddaee226a7c050b3563230d573ef", "sha256": "aa03cd11c03dcf5e7863f0c5aee8a73c7443791ac54dbc5ae9839a95f7615cf1" }, "downloads": -1, "filename": "gelutils-0.6.1.tar.gz", "has_sig": false, "md5_digest": "17bcddaee226a7c050b3563230d573ef", "packagetype": "sdist", "python_version": "source", "requires_python": null, "size": 53456, "upload_time": "2016-08-22T19:57:03", "url": "https://files.pythonhosted.org/packages/04/91/80a53e7ef3d653fd28843bf983785768a9490822f9bc3caab30d7b5cb49c/gelutils-0.6.1.tar.gz" } ] }
