        "description": "FAST\n====\nThis is FAST, an acronym for FAST Atomic Spectroscopy from Theory.\n\nThis software derives and solves optical Bloch equations efficiently. This can\nbe done for an arbitrary number of atomic states and radiation fields. The\nequations are used primarily to produce theoretical spectra.\n\nA library of properties of alkali atoms (currently rubidium and cesium) is\nincluded to produce physically accurate equations from first principles or\nfrom tables of measured quantities.\n\nSymbolic derivations of the equations are also implemented.\n\nInstalling\n----------\nThis software requieres gfortran, numpy, matplotlib, lapack, sympy and scipy to\nrun. This is done in the following steps:\n\n**1.-** Install the Python dependencies by installing Anaconda, that is Continuum's\nPython distribution from https://www.continuum.io/downloads\n\n**2.-** Install the non-Python dependencies.\nIn Ubuntu, the fortran dependencies (and git) can be installed with:\n::\n\n    $ sudo apt-get install gfortran liblapack-dev git\n\nOther operative systems are not supported at the moment, but FAST should become\nOS independent in the following releases (with Fortran being optional).\n\n**3.-** Install FAST.\nTo get the latest stable version of FAST use the command:\n::\n\n    $ pip install fast-atomic\n\nTo get the latest unstable version (this requires git):\n::\n\n    $ pip install git+git://github.com/oscarlazoarjona/fast\n\nTo upgrade to the latest stable version:\n::\n\n    $ pip install fast-atomic --upgrade\n\nTo upgrade to the latest unstable version (this requires git):\n::\n\n    $ pip install git+git://github.com/oscarlazoarjona/fast --upgrade\n\nTo uninstall:\n::\n\n    $ pip uninstall fast-atomic\n\nUsing FAST\n----------\n\nOnce this completed example jupyter notebooks can be downloaded from\nhttps://github.com/oscarlazoarjona/fast-notebooks\n\nAnd they can be ran using\n::\n\n    $ jupyter notebook\n\nEnjoy!\n\n\n",
