        "description": "Native Tags Documentation\n=========================\n\n:Authors:\n   Justin Quick <justquick@gmail.com>\n:Version: 0.5\n\n::\n\n    pip install django-native-tags==0.5.3\n\nDjango Native Tags is a way of making the creation of template tags stupidly simple.\nTags are \"native\" because there is a much closer relationship between the tag in the template and a Python function behind the scenes.\nThe app abstracts the work needed to parse out the templatetag syntax into a useable form for a Python function.\nFor example:\n\nDefine an arbitrary function in your templatetags::\n\n   def add(x, y):\n      return x + y\n   add.function = True\n   \nUse the function in your template::\n\n   {% add 1000 100 as num %}\n   {{ num|intcomma }}\n\nWhich outputs::\n\n   1,100\n   \nOther features of Native Tags:\n \n * Keyword argument parsing\n * Quoted strings parsed correctly\n * Add templatetags to Django's builtins (no ``{% load %}`` required)\n * Auto resolve of template variables\n * Universal and per-tag caching\n * Straightforward template tag unittesting\n * Error tolerant by letting you specify a fallback return value\n\nThe real power of the module comes in the contrib add ons which has tons of tags for various uses including\ncomparisons, regex operations, math operations, and much more.
