They open many possible uses:\r\nschool, corporate, legal, advocacy\u2026\r\n\r\nImport cares for compatibility\r\n------------------------------\r\n\r\nThe import module of comt is compatible with many document formats to\r\nlet you import your existing texts into the site.\r\n\r\nText editor inside\r\n------------------\r\n\r\nYou can create new texts or edit your previously uploaded ones through\r\nthe text editor integrated into comt. To organize your text, choose\r\nbetween 3 languages: the extended pandoc flavor of markdown\r\n(recommended), HTML or RST.\r\n\r\nExport to good-looking printable formats\r\n----------------------------------------\r\n\r\nSimplified formatting of text in comt allows a high quality export.\r\n\r\nSeveral formats are available for export: PDF, Open Office, MS Word,\r\nLaTex and HTML.\r\n\r\nA text\u2019s life\r\n-------------\r\n\r\nYou can edit your text, taking in account modification proposals from\r\ncommentators for example. comt allows version management. You can switch\r\nback to a previous version any time and visualize changes between any\r\ntwo versions. When you create a new one, you can keep the received\r\ncomments or discard them.\r\n\r\nContributor and role management\r\n-------------------------------\r\n\r\nCreate a working group easily around a text or a set of texts. Invite\r\nyour contributors on the fly and give them a common role or give some of\r\nthem a specific role: observer, commentator, moderator, editor or\r\nmanager.\r\n\r\nRSS feed, e-mail: choose your alert tool\r\n----------------------------------------\r\n\r\nTo be alerted of new contributions to a text (new comment, new version),\r\na RSS feed and an e-mail alert system are provided for each text.\r\n\r\nThe workspace\r\n-------------\r\n\r\ncomt\u2019s workspace gives you a global view of your group\u2019s activity\r\n(comments, new subscribers, new texts\u2026) and a direct access to the\r\ncontents.\r\n\r\nYou have a real-time view of your working group members, texts and\r\ncomments through the dashboard portlets. A precious tool for managing a\r\nproject in a paperless environment.\r\n\r\nActivity-meter\r\n--------------\r\n\r\nYou can view your group\u2019s activity at different levels (global, for a\r\nspecific text or member). You can adjust the graph\u2019s time-frame: day,\r\nweek or month.\r\n\r\nBrowse through comments easily\r\n------------------------------\r\n\r\nWhat if your text receives a lot of comments?
