        "description": "# ColorStats\n\nPython package for processing color data from images.\n\n### Installation\nInstall colorstats with:\n```commandline\npip3 install colorstats\n```\n\n### Overview\nColorStats allows users to process pixel data from images in order to \ndetermine various statistics/attributes of the color composition of images.\nIt also allows users to determine the similarity of a set of images \nusing these statistics.\n\n### Functionality/Features\n\n##### Single Image \n\n- generate the average shade of each general color (red, blue, etc. )\npresent in an image and their standard deviations\n- calculate average saturation and lightness\n- calculate the percentage color composition of the image\n\n\n##### Sets of Images\n\n- calculate average and standard deviation of saturation and lightness across all images\n- calculate similarity based on:\n    1. average shades of colors\n    2. percentage color composition\n    3. average saturation and lightness\n    4. weighted some of the above values\n\n\n\n\n",
