Worked really well for them.\n\n\nFeatures\n~~~~~~~~\n\n- Linux based using normal webcams (Raspberry Pi will work fine)\n\n- Creates AVIs - using avconv\n\n- Able to see your progress easily\n\n- Onion skinning - making ad hoc stop motion simpler\n\n- Simple operation\n\n    - space - take photo\n\n    - p (or r) - record a preview\n\n    - escape - quit - don't record a video \n\n- Simple code - using python and pygame\n\n- Frame based - meaning recreating the animation time and again doesn't\n  result in video degradation.\n\nAt present it's based around stop motion, but I also have some time lapse\ncode (including de-duplication of frames) which will be added to this.\n\nIt's aimed to be quick, simple and fun to use. \n\nThere are missing features.\n\nNotably I think these should be added at some point:\n\n- Audio recording\n- Frame deletion/undo\n- Frame counter / time into video counter\n\n\nRelease History\n---------------\n\nRelease History:\n\n-  0.1.0 - UNRELEASED - Initial version used with scouts.\n\n-  0.1.1 - TBD - Packaged up, and documented.\n\n\nMichael Sparks, February 2017",
