\n\nBrea\n======\n\n[![Building Status](https://travis-ci.org/frootlab/brea.svg?branch=master)](https://travis-ci.org/frootlab/brea)\n[![Documentation Status](https://readthedocs.org/projects/brea/badge/?version=latest)](https://brea.readthedocs.io/en/latest/?badge=latest)\n[![PIP Version](https://badge.fury.io/py/brea.svg)](https://badge.fury.io/py/brea)\n\n*Brea* is a planed catalog server for algorithm storage and evaluation and\nbased on [GIT](https://git-scm.com/). Brea aims to serve as an algorithm\ncatalog to allow the usage of abstract **currently best fitting** (CBF)\nalgorithms, as required by the **Cloud-Assisted Meta Programming** (CAMP)\nparadigm.\n\nThereby Brea is required to host and deliver algorithms as well es to\ncyclically evaluate and index them with respect to their corresponding metrics,\nusing [Rian](https://www.frootlab.org/rian). An example for such a metric\nwould be the average prediction accuracy within a fixed set of gold standard\nsamples of the respective domain of application (e.g. latin handwriting samples,\nspoken word samples, TCGA gene expression data, etc.). Consequently Brea is\nalso required to host or connect these samples by using\n[Deet](https://www.frootlab.org/deet).\n\nDue to this approach brea allows the implementation of *smart analytics*\nprojects, that are automatically kept up-to-date by a minimum of maintenance\ncosts. Also brea supports scientific applications, by facilitating a local\n(workgroup, lab, institution) or global publication, application and evaluation\nof algorithms, e.g. developed within a PhD-position or program.\n\nBrea is open source, based on the [Python](https://www.python.org/)\nprogramming language and actively developed as part of the [Liquid\nCode](https://www.frootlab.org/liquid) framework at\n[Frootlab](https://www.frootlab.org).\n\nCurrent Development Status\n--------------------------\n\nBrea currently is in late *Planning* stage, which immediately is followed by\nthe *Pre-Alpha* stage. This means, that the projects directives, requirements\nand goals are mostly settled but so far only hardly implemented.\n\nInstallation\n------------\n\nComprehensive information and installation support is provided within the\n[online manual](https://brea.readthedocs.io/en/latest/). If you already have a\nPython environment configured on your computer, you can install the latest\ndistributed version by using pip:\n\n $ pip install brea\n\nDocumentation\n-------------\n\nThe latest Brea documentation is available as an [online\nmanual](https://brea.readthedocs.io/en/latest/) and for download in the\nformats [PDF](https://readthedocs.org/projects/brea/downloads/pdf/latest/),\n[EPUB](https://readthedocs.org/projects/brea/downloads/epub/latest/) and\n[HTML](https://readthedocs.org/projects/brea/downloads/htmlzip/latest/).\n\nContribute\n----------\n\nContributors are very welcome! Feel free to report bugs and feature requests to\nthe [issue tracker](https://github.com/frootlab/brea/issues) provided by\nGitHub. Currently, as the Frootlab Developers team still is growing, we do not\nprovide any Contribution Guide Lines to collaboration partners. However, if you\nare interested to join the team, we would be glad, to receive an informal\n[application](mailto:application@frootlab.org).\n\nLicense\n-------\n\nBrea is open source and available free for any use under the\n[GPLv3](https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html) license:\n\n \u00c2\u00a9 2019 Frootlab Developers:\n Patrick Michl \n\n\n", "description_content_type": "text/markdown", "docs_url": null, "download_url": "", "downloads": { "last_day": -1, "last_month": -1, "last_week": -1 }, "home_page": "https://www.frootlab.org/brea", "keywords": "catalog catalog-software", "license": "GPLv3", "maintainer": "", "maintainer_email": "", "name": "brea", "package_url": "https://pypi.org/project/brea/", "platform": "", "project_url": "https://pypi.org/project/brea/", "project_urls": { "Homepage": "https://www.frootlab.org/brea" }, "release_url": "https://pypi.org/project/brea/0.0.1/", "requires_dist": [ "numpy (>=1.15)", "hup (>=0.9.2)", "deet (>=0.1.11)", "rian (>=0.5.582)" ], "requires_python": ">=3.7", "summary": "Catalog Server and Algorithm Repository", "version": "0.0.1" }, "last_serial": 5807408, "releases": { "0.0.1": [ { "comment_text": "", "digests": { "md5": "0c7caa60760fe224b40c9a584a9cc8df", "sha256": "1cbec1986eb1af13103793a3307d32071a771c55ecb07041eb54d7932ca0980a" }, "downloads": -1, "filename": "brea-0.0.1-py3-none-any.whl", "has_sig": false, "md5_digest": "0c7caa60760fe224b40c9a584a9cc8df", "packagetype": "bdist_wheel", "python_version": "py3", "requires_python": ">=3.7", "size": 16481, "upload_time": "2019-09-10T07:32:34", "url": "https://files.pythonhosted.org/packages/bc/a3/1c8ddf524308fbee75f36a85f572845cf542ea59478ad30a360fe2521f46/brea-0.0.1-py3-none-any.whl" }, { "comment_text": "", "digests": { "md5": "af9f5be0d5d31158f0cab405827e60c4", "sha256": "af46dc79b9ba0abb4c7a18c78c610253eaff1d5142c2a5a1de7d70801d9e6af9" }, "downloads": -1, "filename": "brea-0.0.1.tar.gz", "has_sig": false, "md5_digest": "af9f5be0d5d31158f0cab405827e60c4", "packagetype": "sdist", "python_version": "source", "requires_python": ">=3.7", "size": 4145, "upload_time": "2019-09-10T07:32:36", "url": "https://files.pythonhosted.org/packages/89/9b/5649c2967ec937e29ca2cf3776e43566e77b761d3c46248dd865273ba09a/brea-0.0.1.tar.gz" } ] }, "urls": [ { "comment_text": "", "digests": { "md5": "0c7caa60760fe224b40c9a584a9cc8df", "sha256": "1cbec1986eb1af13103793a3307d32071a771c55ecb07041eb54d7932ca0980a" }, "downloads": -1, "filename": "brea-0.0.1-py3-none-any.whl", "has_sig": false, "md5_digest": "0c7caa60760fe224b40c9a584a9cc8df", "packagetype": "bdist_wheel", "python_version": "py3", "requires_python": ">=3.7", "size": 16481, "upload_time": "2019-09-10T07:32:34", "url": "https://files.pythonhosted.org/packages/bc/a3/1c8ddf524308fbee75f36a85f572845cf542ea59478ad30a360fe2521f46/brea-0.0.1-py3-none-any.whl" }, { "comment_text": "", "digests": { "md5": "af9f5be0d5d31158f0cab405827e60c4", "sha256": "af46dc79b9ba0abb4c7a18c78c610253eaff1d5142c2a5a1de7d70801d9e6af9" }, "downloads": -1, "filename": "brea-0.0.1.tar.gz", "has_sig": false, "md5_digest": "af9f5be0d5d31158f0cab405827e60c4", "packagetype": "sdist", "python_version": "source", "requires_python": ">=3.7", "size": 4145, "upload_time": "2019-09-10T07:32:36", "url": "https://files.pythonhosted.org/packages/89/9b/5649c2967ec937e29ca2cf3776e43566e77b761d3c46248dd865273ba09a/brea-0.0.1.tar.gz" } ] }
