        "description": "# Bayeslite\n\nBayeslite is a BQL database built on SQLite3.  BQL is an extension to\nSQL that supports queries about the probable implications of data.\n\nBayeslite is part of an ongoing research project.  For more\ninformation, contact bayesdb@mit.edu.\n\n## Dependencies\n\nBayeslite is written in Python 2.7, using the sqlite3 module with\nSQLite3 >=3.8.0.\n\nBayeslite depends on:\n\n- [Crosscat](https://github.com/probcomp/crosscat),\n  a general-purpose nonparametric Bayesian population model which\n  serves as a default in the absence of a domain-specific model.\n- [apsw](https://rogerbinns.github.io/apsw/), a sqlite3 wrapper for\n  Python more articulated than the builtin sqlite3 module\n- [numpy](http://www.numpy.org), a library of vectorized numerical\n  algorithms\n- [requests](http://www.python-requests.org/), an HTTP/HTTPS library,\n  which we use to track users.\n\nThe bayeslite automatic tests depend on:\n\n- [pytest](https://pytest.org/)\n- [pandas](http://pandas.pydata.org), a library for tabular data\n  structures\n\nThe bayeslite documentation depends on:\n\n- [Sphinx](http://sphinx-doc.org/)\n\n## Test\n\nTo check that everything will work, before installing:\n\n```\n$ ./check.sh\n```\n\n## Install\n\nTo install system-wide, or into the current virtual environment:\n\n```\n$ python setup.py build\n$ python setup.py install\n```\n\n## Use\n\nImport the `bayeslite` module.
