        "description": "Cobbler is a Linux boot server that allows for rapid setup of network\r\ninstallation environments. With a simple series of commands, network installs\r\ncan be configured for PXE, reinstallations, and virtualized installs using Xen\r\nor KVM. Cobbler uses a helper program called 'Koan' (which interacts with\r\nCobbler) for reinstallation and virtualization support.\r\n\r\nSetting up Cobbler is simple. Installation trees can be imported directly from\r\nmedia you already have (or copied from a mirror location), and turned into\r\nnetwork install sources within minutes. RHEL, Fedora, and Centos are all\r\nsupported for both the boot server and installation targets.\r\n\r\nCobbler can, if desired, also assist in managing of DHCP infrastructure for\r\nprovisioned systems (using ISC dhcp or dnsmasq), mirroring install trees,\r\ntemplating kickstart files, automatically creating PXE menus, and locally\r\nmirroring repositories used by systems on your network.\r\n\r\nIn short, Cobbler helps build and maintain network installation infrastructure\r\nreally easily. It's highly customizable to your particular methods of operation\r\nthrough a wide variety of options, a pluggable extension mechanism, and (for\r\ndevelopers) its own Python API. Cobbler lets administrators forget how software\r\ngets installed and delivered and lets them concentrate instead on what they want\r\nto install where.\r\n\r\nWhether you run a large datacenter, a campus lab, or just have a handfull of\r\nmachines on a home network, cobbler can help you perform installations and\r\nupdates faster.",
