        "description": "======================\nCoCoRaHS-Download-Tool\n======================\n\nTool to download CoCoRaHS data.\n\n\nRequirements\n============\n\n- Python >= 2.6\n\n\nInstallation\n============\n\nTo get started using **CoCoRaHS-Download-Tool** simply install it with **pip**::\n\n    $ pip install CoCoRaHS-Download-Tool\n\nOr, use *pip* locally with the .tar.gz distribution file::\n\n    $ pip install CoCoRaHS-Download-Tool-0.0.2.tar.gz\n\n\nUsage\n=====\n\nThe **CoCoRaHS-Download-Tool** tool has two modes of operation, listing of \nCoCoRaHS station metadata, and listing of CoCoRaHS station data.\n\nStations Metadata\n-----------------\n\nTo list CoCoRaHS stations metadata for the default state (NM) the following \ncommand is issued::\n\n    $ python -m cocorahs_dlt stations\n\nTo save the output of this operation, run::\n\n    $ python -m cocorahs_dlt stations > stations.csv\n\nTo download and save CoCoRaHS stations metadata for a different state \n(specified by the two-character state code), the following command is \nissued::\n\n    $ python -m cocorahs_dlt --state CO stations > stations.csv\n\n\nStations Data\n-------------\n\nTo list CoCoRaHS stations data for the default state (NM), the default\ndate range (last three days), and the default output (CSV) the following \ncommand is issued::\n\n    $ python -m cocorahs_dlt data\n\nTo save the output of this operation, run::\n\n    $ python -m cocorahs_dlt data > data.csv\n\nTo download and save CoCoRaHS stations data for a different state \n(specified by the two-character state code), the following command is \nissued::\n\n    $ python -m cocorahs_dlt --state CO data > data.csv\n\nTo download and save CoCoRaHS stations data for a different state \n(specified by the two-character state code) and in a different output format, \nthe following command is issued::\n\n    $ python -m cocorahs_dlt --state CO data --format XML > data.xml\n\nTo download and save CoCoRaHS stations data for a different state \n(specified by the two-character state code) in a different output format, and \nwith volunteer comments, the following command is issued::\n\n    $ python -m cocorahs_dlt --state CO data --format XML --comments > data.xml\n\nTo download and save CoCoRaHS stations data for a different state \n(specified by the two-character state code) in a different output format, \nwith volunteer comments, and for a different date range, the following command \nis issued::\n\n    $ python -m cocorahs_dlt --state CO data --format XML --comments --start_date 2014-09-13 --end_date 2014-09-21 > data.xml\n\nTo only list the data from the previous command, the *> data.xml* text is dropped::\n\n    $ python -m cocorahs_dlt --state CO data --format XML --comments --start_date 2014-09-13 --end_date 2014-09-21",
